I was honored to have led a text study with the JOCI Jews of Color Career Development Program. Together, we explored Parashat Lech Lecha – the weekly Torah portion entitled Lech Lecha, meaning Go (For Yourself)!
Reflecting on the study session, a participant shared:
I’ve never had a nonprofit or organization focus so much on self-care and betterment. … I also haven’t had curriculum that looked at Jewish text from a JoC lens. That was offered for probably the first time in my life by these Friday sessions.
