A Rabbi in the Palm of your Hand?

Think about it.

Before we even fully wake up in the morning, we’re on our phones.

We get life updates from friends and family via text.

We order groceries through an app.

We read our daily news in Safari or Chrome.

But if we want to hear from our rabbi, we have to go to shul?

OK, don’t panic—I’m not saying our clergy should be digitally accessible 24/7 (G-d forbid!). They’re already stretched thin as it is.

But think about the wisdom and guidance they carry. The warmth, the encouragement, the deep, lifelong relationships they build with their communities.

What if that was more accessible online?

Not everyone can make it to services every Saturday.

But we all need spiritual inspiration to get through the week.

When our boss yells at us, when our kid has a meltdown, when bad news hits—while we doom scroll to distract ourselves, imagine seeing a quick, grounding word from a trusted source of kindness and Torah wisdom. Right there, alongside the memes.

Think about your synagogue’s mission. What do you hope to achieve?

You serve that mission through services, life cycle events, pastoral care, and education. And you can serve it online, too.

Right there, in the palm of a hand.

That’s what synagogue marketing is all about.
