This month, the Jews of Color (JOC) Career Development Program launches. I was grateful for the opportunity to not only be a part of the team that supports its nationwide launch, but also to design its logo and materials.
I designed the logo in collaboration with Lina of Talina Design – the logo, and the visual identity as a whole, is a combination of the visual identities of Up Start and the Jews of Color Initiative, the two organizations bringing this program to light. Leveraging our brand’s boldness and brightness, with JOCI’s diversity of color, I sought to create an image of the upward movement of JOCs in the Jewish communal sector, and the diversity of ethnicities and identities thereof.

For the Powerpoint/Google Slide presentation, I wanted to bring in more of that boldness and diversity, as well as use imagery and colors that are common in the marketing materials of social justice movements and organizations.
Stay tuned for more Powerpoint deck designs, as I work with the Change Accelerator crew on their national launch this month!
